So I have officially been in New York for 24 hours! And everything I didn't expect to happen happened. First the flight from Chicago to Long Island...I sat by a 50 year old man who was drunk and high. He offered me a bud light and "hash brownies" and told me how ever since he started smoking pot his life has changed for the better. He is now out of debt and knows how to save money not having cable TV. I can only imagine what he uses that money for... The lady behind us asked if I was his daughter and I gave a disgusted look and then he was like "No, she's my concubine", the look became even worse. I learned the difference between a 'white russian' and a 'black russian' drink, the international sign for marijuana, and much much more. Who'd of thought that I would experience everything on my flight?!?
First day on Long Island we went to...the bEAcH. The water was warmer than I expected, though we just put our feet in it. We went to Port Jefferson, a town right near the water that reminded me of a miniature San Francisco. We just walked around, and then drove around town. I went and checked out the house I will be living at. I still think it is cray that I will be living so close to my cousin. My new friend is Crew. He is 2 and we played all day and in his prayer said "thank you for sam coming". It was adorable!
hahahaha you would sit by a high drunk guy on the flight! that kills me!
